We were able to talk with the person who witnessed the events of nearly 30 years ago, when on January 25 of the Istra landscape forever gone grand structure in the shape of a dome diameter of 234 meters and a height of 112.3 meters. The giant dome, according to the recollections of many attracts the eye, day and night, was the favorite child of the flagship Istra science VNIC VEI as well as pride and hope throughout the defense. This is evidenced by the yellowed pages of scholarly and popular magazines of the time. While all that is connected with a dome, is still surrounded by mystery, it is known only that he intended to carry out experiments in the field of high-voltage testing. Since then, it took several decades, our interlocutor does not work in the long VEI, but the events of that day etched in my memory forever. Although this story is overgrown with rumors, but as it turned out, most of them are unfounded: in the fall no one died - neither protection nor the guard inside was not.
